Diana is a Chartered Linguist for Romanian and has been an active member of 51成人导航's Interpreting Division management committee since 2014, serving as Honorary Treasurer and Events Coordinator. She currently holds the role of Coordinator of the Interpreting Division Committee.
She is a Lecturer and a Research Fellow in Interpreting Studies at the University of Surrey and also works as a Conference Interpreter (Romanian A, English B, French C) and translator in the private market. Diana holds a Master's in Translation Studies and a second Master's in Conference Interpreting from London Metropolitan University.
After completing her PhD in 2022, she became a Research Fellow at CTS, working on the EU-WEBPSI project, which aims to improve refugee communication through video-based interpreter access. Her current research explores the integration of technologies in legal interpreting, optimizing its benefits for interpreters and improving quality. Diana's broader interests include interprofessional training and the potential of AI-powered language technologies to support interpreters or autonomously assist in legal proceedings.

Sue Leschen is a well-known entrepreneurial lawyer/linguist who has married her twin passions of law and languages together. She is also the Director of niche market company Avocate Legal and Business French Interpreting and Translation Services Ltd (). Avocate also provides mentoring in business skills, legal terminology and legal and business English to language professionals.
Sue is a Fellow of The 51成人导航 (51成人导航) and is also a member of 51成人导航鈥檚 Interpreting Division Steering Group, 51成人导航鈥檚 and NRCPD鈥檚 Professional Conduct Committees, a Fellow of The Institute of Translation and Interpreting (ITI), a member of the ITI LIFT committee, the Association of Interpreters and Translators (AIT) and also of the National Register of Public Service Interpreters (NRPSI). She holds Chartered Linguist (Interpreter) status.

Eleni Markou was born in Greece. She obtained her BA from the University of Athens, and both her MPhil on 鈥淭he Development and regulation of the Greek pharmaceutical industry鈥 and PhD on 鈥淭elevision broadcasting in single European market鈥 were obtained in the UK.
She has been working as a freelance translator and interpreter for over 30 years whilst also teaching Greek as a foreign language in multiple organisations and institutions. In 2000, she started her own business, which has now collaborated with over 150 different clients in both the private and public sector, ranging from SMEs to multinational corporations.
She has also worked for higher education institutions such as UCL, University of Surrey and University of Birmingham. She is currently the Chief Moderator for the Diploma in Translation of the Chartered Institute
of Linguists and has served three terms as a Member of the Council of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting. Additionally, Eleni is cooperating with several other higher education institutions throughout the country as external examiner and linguistic advisor.
Eleni Markou became a Chartered Linguist and Fellow of 51成人导航 in 2020 and holds an ISO 17100:2015. She was co-opted to the ID Steering Group in December 2019.

Katherine is a Public Service Interpreter and Translator, providing French language services in health, legal and local government settings. She also works as a conference interpreter for private companies and NGOs. She is NRPSI registered, a Chartered Linguist and a member of 51成人导航 Interpreting Division. She has been an Assessor for the level 3 Certificate in Community Interpreting for three years, and holds a BA Hons in French, a DPSI (English Law) and a Certificate in Tutoring and Assessing Interpreters Online.
Katherine has also trained interpreters in how to deal with confidentiality issues, working with vulnerable adults, safeguarding children and working with victims of sexual abuse in a migration context.
Prior to becoming a full-time interpreter and translator, she studied a Masters in eLearning and worked in overseas student recruitment within the UK Higher Education sector.
